1. GOAL RUSH WEEKLY
1.1 Goal Rush Weekly (a “Goal Rush Game”) is a goals-based game played over a single gameweek, using teams from the Premier League and the Championship.
1.2 There are no lines or houses in a Goal Rush Game. The player whose Card scores the most goals wins.
1.3 This Section applies to each Goal Rush Game. If anything in this Section conflicts with another part of the Terms in relation to a Goal Rush Game, this Section applies.
2. BUILDING YOUR CARD
2.1 Each card (a “Card”) contains 15 teams.
2.2 Teams are grouped into tiers, and each team has a price set by RTSB. The total price of the teams on your Card must not exceed £200m (the “Budget”). You may spend less than the Budget.
2.3 You may buy a maximum of 10 Cards per Goal Rush Game.
2.4 While a Goal Rush Game is open for card sales, you may either choose the teams on your Card yourself or use our automatic selection service (the “Automiser”), which selects teams at random within the tier mix set for that Goal Rush Game.
2.5 Once a Goal Rush Game has begun, you can no longer choose the teams on your Card yourself. Any Card bought after that point will be built by the Automiser.
2.6 RTSB sets the point at which card sales close for each Goal Rush Game (the “Sale Cut-Off”), and it will be shown on the game page. The Sale Cut-Off is not necessarily the kick-off time of the first match in the Goal Rush Game.
2.7 Once you have bought a Card, the teams on it cannot be changed or swapped. Nudges are not available in a Goal Rush Game.
3. SCORING AND THE LEADERBOARD
3.1 Every goal scored by a team on your Card adds one to your Card’s total score.
3.2 If you buy a Card after matches in the Goal Rush Game have started, any goals already scored by the teams on your Card count towards its total score immediately.
3.3 Your Card’s score builds through the gameweek, and you can follow your position on the live leaderboard.
3.4 If a match is postponed, or is not played within the period of the Goal Rush Game, no goals are scored by either team in that match for the purposes of the Goal Rush Game.
3.5 If a match is abandoned after it has started, any goals scored before the abandonment will still count. A Goal Rush Game covers multiple matches, so no refund is due where an individual match is postponed, not played or abandoned.
3.6 Scores are based on the official match data we receive from our data provider. Our decision on scoring is final, but this does not affect your right to complain. If you would like to make a complaint or need support, please contact support@match15.com.
4. WINNERS, TIE-BREAKERS AND PRIZES
4.1 When the final match in the Goal Rush Game has finished, the Card with the highest total score wins. The prize pot is shared between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as shown on the game page.
4.2 If two or more Cards have the same total score, the following tie-breakers apply in this order:
(a) the Card with the highest goal difference, being the number of goals scored by the teams on the Card minus the number of goals they conceded;
(b) the Card with the lowest total spent against the Budget; and
(c) the Card that was bought earliest.
4.3 If two or more Cards are still level after all of the tie-breakers in clause 4.2 have been applied, the prizes for the places concerned will be added together and shared equally between those Cards.
4.4 Prizes will be rounded down to the nearest one pence.
4.5 Prizes are paid manually and will be credited to winning players’ Accounts within 2 working days of the final result being confirmed, unless we need to carry out checks on the result or the Account first.
5. VOID GAMES AND ERRORS
5.1 RTSB may void a Goal Rush Game if a technical fault, a data error or circumstances outside our control mean it cannot be run fairly.
5.2 If a whole Goal Rush Game is voided, we will refund the stakes for that Goal Rush Game to the Accounts of the players who bought Cards. A Goal Rush Game is not voided because an individual match is postponed, not played or abandoned.
