Your Match15 account can contain different types of funds, so it's useful to understand where your money is held, what happens when you purchase cards and when your winnings can be withdrawn.
Here's how your Match15 balance works.
Actual Balance
Your Actual Balance contains money you've deposited into your Match15 account, along with any withdrawable winnings you've earned.
When you win on Match15, your winnings are automatically added to your Actual Balance. You don't need to manually claim them.
Funds held in your Actual Balance can be used to purchase cards or withdrawn, subject to Match15's withdrawal requirements.
Bonus Balance
Your Bonus Balance contains promotional funds you've received from Match15, such as funds awarded as part of a deposit bonus.
Bonus funds can be used to purchase cards, but the bonus funds themselves can't be withdrawn as cash.
Any winnings generated from cards purchased using Bonus Balance are credited to your Actual Balance, meaning those winnings are withdrawable.
Unless the terms of a particular promotion say otherwise, there is no wagering or playthrough requirement attached to those winnings.
What happens if I have both Actual and Bonus Balance?
If you have money in both balances, the cost of a card is taken proportionately from your Actual Balance and Bonus Balance based on the amount held in each.
For example, if 75% of your available balance is Actual Balance and 25% is Bonus Balance, the cost of your cards would be split between the two balances using the same proportions.
Any value associated with free cards isn't included when calculating this split.
Regardless of whether a winning card was purchased using Actual Balance, Bonus Balance or a combination of both, the winnings are credited to your Actual Balance.
What happens to my Bonus Balance if I withdraw?
If you make a withdrawal while you still have funds in your Bonus Balance, any remaining Bonus Balance will be forfeited.
Your Actual Balance isn't affected by this, other than the amount you've chosen to withdraw.
It's therefore worth checking the terms of any active promotion and your remaining Bonus Balance before requesting a withdrawal.
Can bonus funds expire?
Yes. Promotional funds can have an expiry date.
The length of time you have to use a bonus depends on the individual promotion, so check the relevant promotion terms when you receive one.
If the bonus isn't used before its expiry date, any remaining Bonus Balance associated with that promotion may be removed from your account.
Claiming another deposit bonus may also cause an existing Bonus Balance to be forfeited where stated in the relevant promotion terms.
Adding money to your balance
You can add money to your Match15 account through My Account → Top Up My Balance.
Match15 accepts debit card deposits. Credit cards aren't accepted.
The standard minimum deposit is £5, although an individual promotion may require a higher qualifying deposit.
Match15 doesn't charge a fee for making a deposit.
Keeping track of your account activity
You can keep track of your account activity through Transaction History and Statements under the My Balance section of My Account.
Transaction History gives you a running record of activity on your account. Each transaction shows what happened, the date, the amount involved and your balance following the transaction. This includes activity such as card purchases and winnings being credited to your account.
Statements provide a monthly breakdown of your account activity. Select a month to see a summary of your deposits, withdrawals, wins, purchases and credited funds, along with the individual transactions recorded during that period.
If you need a copy for your records, you can also request an email copy of an individual monthly statement.
If you notice something you don't recognise or believe there's a problem with your balance, contact Match15 Support at support@match15.com.
Withdrawing money
You can request a withdrawal through My Account → Withdraw Funds.
Unless you're closing your account, the minimum withdrawal is £5.
Withdrawal requests are processed as promptly as possible but can take 3–5 working days to reach your bank account.
Match15 doesn't charge a fee for making a withdrawal.
What happens to my winnings?
You don't need to claim winnings manually.
When you win a prize on Match15, the amount you've won is automatically credited to your Actual Balance.
That applies whether the winning card was purchased using your Actual Balance, Bonus Balance or a combination of the two.
You can then use those winnings to play again or withdraw them.
Need help with your balance?
If a deposit, withdrawal or balance doesn't look right, or you're unsure how funds have been used, contact Match15 Support at support@match15.com.
When contacting Support, include as much information as possible about the transaction or balance you're asking about so the team can investigate.
The important bit
Your Actual Balance contains deposited funds and withdrawable winnings, while your Bonus Balance contains promotional funds that can be used to play but can't be withdrawn directly.
Winnings from cards purchased using either balance are credited to your Actual Balance.
Remember that withdrawing while you still have Bonus Balance remaining will result in that remaining bonus being forfeited, so check your balance and any relevant promotion terms before making a withdrawal.
